How many treatments will I need?
Kybella is a process that consists of 3-5 treatments depending on the amount of fat to be eliminated. These treatments are spaced approximately 3 months apart.
How is Kybella administered?
The area under your chin will be marked with a special grid and with a very small needle, you will receive several injections.
Does Kybella hurt?
In our office we place numbing cream in the area to be treated for 30 minutes before the treatment so you do not feel the needle sticks. After the injections are done you will experience a aching or burning sensation. We place an ice pack over that area and within 5-10 minutes that sensation is either gone or much less. Over the next several months you make feel tender and most experience some numbness that resolves completely.
How long will the Kybella last?
Once the treatments are done, the results are permanent.
