Which fillers are right for me?
MVL uses the Juvederm family of fillers which consists of Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Volux, and Juvederm. The particular filler used is dependent on where we are placing the filler and each individual patient’s needs. Our experienced staff will discuss the options with you and choose the right filler for your needs. During the consultation, you will be given information on all the types of fillers and the amount that is needed to achieve your desired goal. We believe that the goal of dermal fillers is to create a natural look that restores patients to the image they have of themselves.
Is the procedure painful?
Prior to the procedure, numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. In addition, the fillers also contain lidocaine so you get numb quickly and stay numb through out the procedure.
How will I look after my treatment?
There is little to no downtime after filler injection. Most patients experience mild redness. On rare occasions, bruising can occur. Results are immediate and the full effects are seen over the next 2-3 weeks.
How long do the fillers last?
Each filler has it’s own duration but all are FDA approved for between 1-2 years.
Is Botox Safe?
Botox is a naturally occurring protein and in controlled amounts using ONLY Botox Cosmetic is very safe. It is widely used for many years for issues such as migraine headaches, muscle spasms, facial tics as well as many other medical applications. The cosmetic effects were discovered over 20 years ago with no side effects or complications.
How long does Botox Last?
Most patients start to see the results in 4-5 days with the full effects of the treatment within 2 weeks. These effects last between 3-4 months. You will need to be treated about every 3-4 months in order to keep that youthful, relaxed look.
